Welcome to Loughborough University Swimming.

This year we will be holding time trials for incoming students and current Loughborough students who wish to be considered for a place in the University National/Development squad for the 2011-12 season.

Places in the Performance Groups will allocated using the Automatic and Consideration times posted here.

Swimmers with Automatic times will be guaranteed a place in the performance squads this September. (Times should have been achieved between January 1st 2011 & 1st September 2012 (National/Development squad time trials will be taken into consideration)

Remaining places will be allocated based upon:
(A) Consideration times
(B) Commitment to training and racing
(C) Potential
(D) Value (E.G. Bucs Points)


The time-trials will be held at the University pool on Wednesday 5th October at 2pm

We will require you to post a time (Long Course) in an Olympic event at the trial. (Click here to go to the prospective swimmers page where you can view group qualification times)
