Melanie Nocher, Irish Senior international and Olympian has now joined the University swimming team fulltime. She has transferred her course and will be studying at the college.

Melanie competed in the 200 Back at the recent Olympic Games in Beijing where she narrowly missed the semi final.

In the past Melanie has been a regular visitor to Loughborough but has now decided to relocate fully in the preparation for London 2012.
