James Lovatt swam to lifetime best performances at the Midland SC Championships held in Braunstone pool over the weekend of 1st-2nd November.

He took the 100 Backstroke title in an impressive time of 55.84 narrowly missing our All Time Top 5. He went on to win the 50 Back in 26.92, also achieved 2nd place finishes in the 200 back in 2:03.21 & 100 Free in 51.52. He finished the weekend off by taking 3rd place in the 50 fly in 25.98.

In the same meet Tsubasa Nakagawa & Rosie Lucas, young swimmers from the City of Leicester who train in our programme twice a week, also achieved lifetime bests in their respective events. Tsubasa winning the 100 Free in 51.0 & Rosie making finals in the 50 & 100 Backstroke.
