Choppy Waters in Brazil

Olympic medallist, David Davies and Loughborough Teammate, Daniel Fogg(left) faced choppy waters in the first round of the FINA 10km circuit in Santos, Brazil.

Unused to open water sea swimming, both swimmers struggled with the rough conditions which struck the coastal resort and failed to make the Top 10.

Although successful in the pool and in open water they are relatively inexperienced when it comes to the varying conditions which lake & sea swimming can throw up.

This race will prove to be a valuable learning experience.
