| More Success for Loughborough Swimmers at the Tri Nations |

The second day of the Tri Nations in Swansea was very successful for Loughborough swimmers Melanie Nocher, Joe Canlan Shaw and Tom Laxton. Tom, swimming for Wales, set the medal winning evening off by taking bronze in the men's 50m fly in a time of 25.96. Joe Canlan Shaw also swimming for Wales, followed up the swift 50m back on the first day by taking silver in the 100m back in a time of 58.64. Melanie Nocher, swimming for Ireland, produced a near lifetime best performance to win he women's 200m freestyle in a time of 2:02.44. Later in the session Mel helped her teammates to gold in 4 x 100m freestyle relay. To check out the results from the meet click here |
