On Sunday 15th a strong Loughborough Swimming team will be heading up to Sheffield to compete in the British Universities swimming league final, starting at 12.30pm at Ponds Forge.
The team secured their place with a win at the regional round held in Nottingham last November and now look forward with great anticipation to this Sundays final.
The team will be a mixture of experienced swimmers and newcomers. Emma Gardner(pictured), Rachel Bowen and Hannah Allen will experience the BUCS environment for the first time with experienced campaigners Euan Dale and Julie Douglas leading the team.
The team to compete this weekend are: Rebecca Jenkins, Emma Gardner, Hannah Allen, Julie Douglas, Richard Molloy, Euan Dale, Andrew Bushell, Tom Foley, Claudia Coleman, Rachael Bowen, Ralph Anstis, Joseph Jelley, Jessica Ford, Hazel Colbourne and Simon Churchman.
