Over the weekend three World 50m records fell to Marleen Veldhuis & Cameron Van Der Burgh. Veldhuis from the Netherlands broke the 50m free & Fly records with Van Der Burgh breaking the 50m breast. At the Japanese Open, Ryosuke Irie scared the 200m men's backstroke World record held by Ryan Lochte. Ryosuke only missed it by less than a second. At the South African championships Kirsty Coventry, turned on the style winning the 400IM in 4:35.25 and going under the minute for the 100m back. |
