Heerden Herman, Word Junior 800m Freestyle Champion, is spending 2 weeks training in Loughborough.

Heerden, from Stellenbosch University, won the FINA World Junior title in Monterray, Mexico in 2008 and represented South Africa at the World Short Course Championships held in Manchester.

He will swim with Coach Kevin Renshaw whose group includes David Davies (Double Olympic Medallist) and Joanne Jackson (Olympic Medallist & World Record Holder). This is a great opportunity for a fine young swimmer and we welcome Heerden to our programme.
