Melanie Marshall, Olympic Finalist, British Record Holder and the winner of 6 Commonwealth medals (the most by any English athlete in history), attended the opening of a stunning new £1.2 million Hydrotherapy Centre for children with multiple disabilities. The centre, received an extraordinary donation of £1.2 million fromLoughborough Swimming's sponsor St.James's Place; the largest single gift made by the Foundation in it's 17yr history. The gift was made possible by the fundraising efforts of Partners and staff from St.James's Place Wealth Management in the last two years. The new Hydrotherapy Centre is an intergral part of The Children's Trust's newly built residential rehabilitation centre for children with acquired brain injuries. It will be used by children who come from all parts of the UK. |
