Both the Great Britain and the Ireland teams will be settled in to their Rome bases this evening waiting for the World Championships to start. The racing starts today, Wednesday 22nd when Daniel Fogg will take part in the men's 10k Open Water. The focus will then shift to the pool where Loughborough swimming have a strong representation on the first morning, Sunday 26th with the following swimmers competing: 400 Free M David Davies 400 Free W Joanne Jackson 100 Breast M James Gibson 4 x 100 M Possibly all three; Ross Davenport, Liam Tancock & Grant Turner 4 x 100 W Fran Halsall, Amy Smith, Caitlin McClatchey & Melanie Nocher(Ireland) Keep an eye out for all of the news and reports from Rome as the swimmers compete
