Loughborough swimmers continue to make an impact at the FINA World Championships in Rome. David Davies (1:46.77) combined forces with Robbie Renwick (Glasgow 1:46.11), Andy Hunter(Stirling 1:46.85) and David Carry(Stockport 1:46.38) to set a new British Record in the heats of the 4x200m freestyle relay to secure 5th spot for tonights final. Lizzie Simmonds progressed to the semi finals of the 200m backstroke;her 2:10.31 securing 12th spot.
