What a team Loughborough Swimming is!!

At the World Championships in Rome our results were:

             1 Gold    3 silver   1 Bronze    14 Finalists

             2 World Records   2 European Records  5 Commonwealth Records   23 British Records   1 Irish Record

Wow!!

In addition there were so many swimmers from around the world with a Loughborough connection who produced some amazing performances eg Gemma Spofforth produced a Gold Medal/World Record breaking swim in the 100m backstroke, Therese Alshammer set a world record and won medals etc.

Our team and influence just goes from strength to strength
