Loughborough Swimming continued to produce outstanding performances at the British Grand Prix in Leeds. Relishing the thought of finishing the season with fast short course swimming the team went to the meet fired up and ready to race. After two days of the competition the whole team are riding a huge wave of confidence; PB's & records abounding. Joe Roebuck "came of age" in the 400m IM with a fine display of versatility and superior turning technique. Committing himself from the outset Roebuck raced to gold and a new British and Commonwealth record of 4:01.88. World Champion Liam Tancock impressively stole the show in the final of the 50m backstroke, taking the title in a British record, Commonwealth and European record of 23.10.
