Double world medallist, Joanne Jackson, set a blistering pace in the final of the 40om freestyle at the British Grand Prix in Leeds to set a new World record of 3:54.92. Controlled and confident, Jo put an magnificent display of pacing to outclass the field and slash over a second off the previous mark. Joe Roebuck continued his winning ways with a fine victory in the 200m butterfly; his time of 1:52.00 being just 0.2 shy of the British record. Loughborough relays were once again in record breaking form. The men's 4 x 100 freestyle team of Ross davenport(47.76), Craig Gibbons(47.07), Ben Hockin(48.07) & Grant Turner(47.39) set a new National and National club team record of 3:10.29. The women's 4 x 100 freestyle team also obliterated the British record; Caitlin McClatchey(54.72), Jo Jackson(54.41), Amy Smith(53.63), Lizzie Simmonds(53.89) setting a mark of 3:36.65.
