Ciao!
After 7 pool sessions, 5 gym workouts and a crazy beach circuit with Bowe, we're all still smiling!! Despite forecasts of rain and cloud, we've had 4 days of brilliant sunshine and clear skies. Gym on the beach has been tough, but coach Steve has spiced it up with some games... piggy back tag and shuttle running relays brought out our competitive streak! Our swim team is also dappling in the open water scene following in Sophie's footsteps! Bowe led us through a beach circuit putting the team through its paces with a combo of land exercises and sea swims. We finished off with a relay swim from the beach, with little Joe and big Joe getting hounded by their opposing teams as each struggled to finish first.
The beach also played host to yeterday's mini beach Olympics! After some gruelling rounds of Volleyball and Handball, Bushell and Scotty's teams went on to be champions!
Not only have we excelled in the pool and on the beach, we also appear to be a very tasty team.... with Lefley being the No1 Mozzy meal!...Closely followed by the rest off the team!!
Overall, I can safely say everyones having a great time and have become accustomed to the beach lifestyle.... in fact, so much so, we may just stay here!!!
