Loughborough swim star, Liam Tancock, was recently named Charnwood Borough Council's Senior Sports Person of the Year.
Liam received his award in recognition of his outstanding season which culmiinated in him taking the World title and twice setting a new World record for the 50m backstroke at the World Championships in Rome. He followed these performances with British, Commonwealth & European records in the 50m backstroke at the British Grand Prix in Leeds.
