At the British University & Colleges Sport Swimming Championships from the 13th to 15th November, fresher Michael Dawson (pictured) broke the Irish Junior Record finishing in 6th place in the 50m Breaststroke final in a time of 28.99, a standard that stood since Barry Murphy swam a time of 29.11 back in 2004.
At the same meet Laurent Carnol broke the Luxembourg senior 200m breaststroke national record. In a gold medal winning performance he set new figures of 2:10.51.
