Former World Breaststroke Champion, James Gibson, is currently undergoing a period of rehabilitation following surgery.

Gibson, a Loughborough University graduate and current swimmer, returned from his Marseilles training base for a discectomy;the removal of part of a disc to relieve pressure from a nerve.

Following the successful procedure he is now undertaking a period of rehabilitation with a view to regaining fitness for next year's Commonwealth Games.
