Jade Barclay(Pictured) and Scott Hathaway finished the Swim Cup, Eindhoven in style with a brace of silver medals.

Jade Barclay put together a well paced race in her specialist event, the 200m butterfly,to swim to silver in 2:14.00; only half a second behind race winner Hannah Miley.The time is just shy of her lifetime best and bodes well for the coming long course season.

Scott Hathaway, swimming in the 200m backstroke, put in a blistering finals 50m to take silver in 2:03.17; the race winner was European and World Record holder Arkady Vayatchanin (Russia).

The meet, held under 2010 rules, has given these Loughborough swimmers the chance to show they are ready to race in whatever suit is required....basically Loughborough puts on the suit and goes to work.
