Loughborough University's World Record Holder and multi World Championship medallist, Joanne Jackson, has been presented with the BBC Look North (North East & Cumbria) Sports Personality of the Year Award.
Joanne, originally from Richmond, N.Yorks, received the award at a prestigious ceremony held at the University of Sunderland and was in recognition of an outstanding year of swimming which saw Joanne twice break the World 400m Freestyle World Record.
