Podium Places In Bordeaux

Loughborough swimmers Jade Barclay, Scott Hathaway and Erin Jeffery raced to podium finishes when representing England at the 34th Grand Prix held in Bordeaux.

Jade Barclay (pictured) took gold in the 200m butterfly (2:15.15) after having recorded a lifetime best of 2:05.35 to clinch bronze in the 200m freestyle. She completed a hat trick of medal winning swims by taking silver in the 100m butterfly in 1:03.22.

Scott Hathaway utilised his superior pacing to secure silver in the 200m backstroke (2:04.53) and then followed this with a bronze medal winning performance in the 100m backstroke (57.75)

Erin Jeffery, overcame a shoulder problem to clinch bronze in the 400m IM with 5:01.13.
