Matthew Breckon and Sophie Casson set the fastest times of the day at the recent East Midlands Time Trials which were held in our home pool.

Matthew benefitted from a more relaxed stroke as he paced his way to an impressive early cycle time of 16:14.58 in the men's 1500m freestyle whilst Sophie Casson posted 8:52.53 in the women's 800m freestyle to swim some 2 seconds faster than she did at the British Championships.

James Gibson took 3rd spot in the 1500m freestyle with 16:34.08 and Kim Bell was third fastest in the women's 800m freestyle with 9:23.92
