Irish Olympian, Melanie Nocher, returned home to dip into the waters of the Irish Open Championships and came away with a new National Record. Swimming in the final of the 200m backstroke, Mel left all comers in her wake as she raced to a new Irish Record of 2:11.74. A delighted Mel said "I feel in the best shape of my life and had planned to attack the Irish Record at this meet, I'm so pleased with my performance and know there is more to come" |
