Joe Roebuck took his first major championship medal in the European 200m Individual Medley final in Budapest

Having worked the butterfly and backstroke legs, Roebuck's strong 50m breaststroke put him in medal contention; true grit and determination taking him over the closing stages of freestyle to clinch bronze in a llifetime best of 1:59.46

An ecstatic Joe said "I wanted the medal so much, I just willed myself to the wall on the last few strokes of freestyle. Being on the podium is such a great experience...can't wait to live the moment again"
